Begin with tubing and coupling

Provide tubing size, connection type and coupling dimensions. Identify where the protector will be installed and whether the arrangement must bridge or accommodate a connection.

Define the cable profile

Include cable width and thickness, control-line diameters and the number and position of lines to be protected. A photograph can support the discussion, but dimensioned information is needed to establish fit.

Check the available envelope

Provide the minimum casing ID, maximum permitted running diameter and known restrictions. The complete assembly—not only the protector body—must be considered during the project review.

Include installation requirements

State the intended fastening arrangement, available tools and any field installation constraints. Ask for the proposed drawing and configuration to be reviewed before ordering.

General procurement guidance. Product selection and acceptance should follow the project specification and appropriate technical review.
